FIREWORKS
An interesting day in Hatfield is one way of describing the Category 3 firework course I attended. We learned the safe and correct way to design, set up and fire a display, and I also discovered that, possibly, the worst bit is picking all the bits up afterwards. We were also allowed to set up and fire some fireworks although we had to be quiet in the afternoon as a wedding was taking place in the grounds of the hotel! I am hoping, other work permitting, to attend the Category 4 course next March to take the training a stage further. In the meantime if anyone has any spare fireworks they want set fire to......
PDF DOCUMENTS
We have recently invested in an upgrade to software allowing the production of PDF documents. We have always offered this service to web customers but are now in a position to extend this. If you have a document and would like a PDF version please see our web site for full details of the service. Costs depend upon the type and complexity of the document to be converted. Request a quote through the web site or e-mail and we will contact you to discuss your requirements.
CRICKET LAW & APPLICATION 2003
Work continues on this major production - an interactive guide to the Laws of Cricket. The launch date has been put back again due to difficulties in being able to prepare video consistent with the revised Laws and their interpretation. The video and sound production are now scheduled for April 2004 with a launch during the UK cricket season. Regular updates will be sent to those customers who have expressed an interest as the launch date approaches.
MULTIMEDIA UPGRADE
We have always used the same software to produce our multimedia products however since originally investing in version 3 of the product it has gone through several upgrades. We recently purchased version 7 as this includes much greater functionality and security. Following extensive testing, including conversion of some existing applications, this version is now being used for all current developments. For existing customers with old products we will either continue to support them in their current version or will upgrade at the next opportunity. The new software does create applications to run under Windows 3.x. If any customers still require this, the old software can still be used.
